Jack Friend is the Chief Operating Officer of Thrive Global, where he oversees go-to-market, technology, and corporate development. In this role, he oversees sales, customer success, product, engineering, design, and partnerships, helping scale Thrive’s behavior change technology worldwide.

Since joining Thrive in 2019, Jack has led New Ventures & Corporate Development, spearheading the launch of Thrive for Support Teams and partnering with the OpenAI Startup Fund to launch Thrive AI Health in 2024. He also co-led Thrive’s Series C financing, backed by Kleiner Perkins in 2021. Earlier, Jack served as Chief of Staff to Arianna Huffington, shaping company strategy and operations during a period of rapid expansion.

He began his career at J.P. Morgan in Healthcare Investment Banking, as an analyst on transactions across the healthcare industry. Jack graduated Summa Cum Laude from Tufts University, where he studied History and Entrepreneurship and played varsity tennis.
