Arianna Huffington is the founder of The Huffington Post, the founder and CEO of Thrive Global, and the author of 15 books, including, most recently, Thrive and The Sleep Revolution. In May 2005, she launched The Huffington Post, a news and blog site that quickly became one of the most widely-read, linked to, and frequently-cited media brands on the Internet. In August 2016, she launched Thrive Global, a corporate and consumer well-being and productivity platform with the mission of changing the way we work and live by ending the collective delusion that burnout is the price we must pay for success.

Originally from Greece, she moved to England when she was 16 and graduated from Cambridge University with an M.A. in economics. Amy Vezzetti is the Chief People Officer at Thrive Global. Prior to Thrive, she was SVP of Talent at Tory Burch, where she spent eight years, after joining as a founding member of the HR team. And for nearly a decade, Amy worked in various HR and Organization Effectiveness roles with Pfizer in North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific. She Holds a BS in Psychology from Western Michigan University and an MA of Human Resources and Industrial Relations from the University of Minnesota. She is on the PTA Executive Board of PS11, one of Manhattan’s largest and most diverse public elementary schools. Amy is a proud Yooper, loves to travel, to do crafty and creative projects (including working on a children’s book with her mom), spend time in the Catskills and enjoy the amazing things NYC has to offer with her husband and their two young, lively boys.
Brent is COO & CFO of Thrive Global. Prior to Thrive, Brent was COO of PicMonkey, a leading provider of image editing and design software that empowers everyday creatives. Prior to PicMonkey, Brent was Chief Revenue Officer at SurveyMonkey where he spent nearly seven years managing functions including sales, business intelligence, business development and M&A. Prior to SurveyMonkey, he worked for Spectrum Equity Investors and was part of the deal team that completed the acquisition of SurveyMonkey in 2009. Previously, he was an investment banker at Piper Jaffray and a hedge fund analyst at Andor Capital. Brent currently serves on the board of Schoology and holds a BA from Columbia University.
Laurie joins Thrive Global with more than 20 years experience as a sales and marketing leader at various technology companies. Most recently, she was at Curalate as Chief Revenue Officer and before that Oracle Data Cloud where she led Sales and Client Solutions for the Brand Solutions Group. She was part of the executive leadership team at Datalogix that transformed the business into the world’s largest data company for marketers and was sold to Oracle in 2015 at a 33X return to investors. Prior to that Laurie worked at several other start-ups all of which were either acquired by IBM or Mode Media. Laurie was born and educated in England, spent some of her childhood in Asia and met her husband in 1995 during the America’s Cup in San Diego. The family now resides between Florida and New York with two boys who attend school in Miami.
Yardley Pohl is the Chief Product Officer at Thrive Global. She is a co-founder and board member of Women in Product, a non-profit organization with 9,000+ members focused on building a strong community of women builders and leaders. With 20 years of operational experience, she began her career as an New Products Engineer at Apple before changing career paths to focus on Product Management at companies such as Trulia, eBay, Yahoo, and Dun & Bradstreet. She is passionate about investing in founders and mentoring the next generation of leaders. She is a member of First Round Capital's inaugural Angel Track Class and a mentor in Sequoia's Ascent Program. Born in Hong Kong, she graduated from the University of California, Davis with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, and earned her MBA from the University of Chicago with Strategy, Finance, and Marketing concentrations. Yardley loves snacks, running, a good game of monopoly and her husband Jason's endless puns.
Anne Sachs is Thrive Global's Chief Content Officer. Prior to joining the Thrive team, Anne managed a dual role at Condé Nast, where she served as both Executive Digital Director at W Magazine and the Editorial Director of Product Partnerships, working across product and content strategy. She also launched Conde Nast's Social News Desk, a central news hub for the company; served as interim Digital Director at Vogue; and was the Digital Director at Glamour. Before starting at Conde Nast, she worked in editorial for a wide range of brands, including ELLEgirl, MTV Networks, and The Gallup Poll.
Danny spent over ten years at The Huffington Post, where he helped build the company from a startup into the world’s leading online publication. As Editorial Director, he oversaw the site’s expansion into video and led high-impact editorial initiatives, including HuffPost Rise, the solutions journalism video series, HuffPost’s presence at the World Economic Forum in Davos and its WorldPost conference in London. In his time at HuffPost, he executed several high-profile launches including HuffPost Live, where he oversaw eight hours of daily live news programming, HuffPost France, the site’s first foreign-language edition, and the site’s presence on new platforms. He began his career there as Media Editor, covering the media industry. He has appeared in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg Business Week and on NBC’s “Today” show and MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.” He graduated with honors from Princeton University, where he studied at the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs.
Kathryn Levene is Chief of Staff to Arianna Huffington at Thrive Global. Prior to joining Thrive, Kathryn worked at Deloitte where she spent time in their human capital consulting practice advising clients on HR issues and culture change, as well as on their internal corporate strategy team to execute the firm strategy. Kathryn holds a B.S. from Vanderbilt University and a MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business. Outside of work, you can find Kathryn reading fiction, attempting new vegetarian recipes, trying new fitness classes, and enjoying time spent with family and friends.
As Chief Technology Officer, Porro leads Thrive Global’s New York and San Francisco-based tech teams. Prior to joining Thrive, Porro was SVP of Technology & Product Delivery for salesforce.org, where over four years she grew a team that has launched many products for the nonprofit and education markets. She spent the eight years prior leading a growing platform engineering team at salesforce.com. With over two decades of experience building and delivering saas products, Porro began her career as a Chemical Process Engineer at International Paper and US Filter before transitioning to software engineer at companies including Amazon.com and DigitalThink. Inc.
Corinne is located in San Francisco where she runs all operations for the Product and Engineering team. She was previously based in NY as the Partnerships and Content Manager. Corinne joined Arianna in 2016 as a Special Projects intern at the Huffington Post. Corinne is a graduate of Harvard where she studied Psychology and Spanish. Her favorite thing to do is be active, you can find her hiking, playing volleyball, doing yoga or snowboarding. She is thrilled to be at Thrive where she can constantly learn and live a healthy lifestyle!
Greg is Thrive Global’s Director of Corporate Content, overseeing all editorial materials for corporate clients. Previously, he spent six years at The Huffington Post as an editor to Arianna Huffington, while also overseeing features coverage of topics including sleep and well-being. Greg studied English and creative writing at Colgate University and journalism at Columbia’s Graduate School of Journalism. His work has appeared in The New York Times, The New York Times Book Review, The Wall Street Journal, and the Los Angeles Times. He lives in Harlem with his wife and three young children, and is at work on his first novel.
Robert Birkhead is the Director of Client Solutions at Thrive Global. Previously, Robert held a variety of roles in the creative services and agency space, most recently as Managing Director at Pyxl. He’s worked brands such as Samsung, Tesla, Whirlpool, IBM Watson, Citrix and the United States Air Force. In college Robert began creating his own agency, working with United States Congressional offices and professional athletes such as Eric Berry, Michael Beasley and Kevin Durant. Robert continued his passion for building, co-founding his own start up that quickly scaled from Nashville to New York and was later sold. Robert is passionate about growth, learning and relationships. Outside of work, you’ll find Robert planning his next big idea, researching or exploring with his wife and their two French Bulldogs.
Summer Borowski is Thrive Global’s Senior Social & Community Strategist. She comes most recently from running branded content social at Quartz and has a background in AOR agency social, managing clients such as the state of Colorado’s marijuana education campaign and VISIT DENVER, the city’s tourism bureau. Summer has an MBA and a degree in marketing from the University of Denver. Her obsessions include Instagram, finding the best rooftops in NYC, and her plant-based blog, Summer In Season.
Meiko is the Executive Assistant to Arianna Huffington at Thrive Global. Meiko studied abroad in Budapest, Hungary where she received her Masters from Central European University's School of Public Policy. Prior to that Meiko received her B.A. in Psychology from Bucknell University and has held jobs in nonprofit, coordinating events and fundraising initiatives for local and international organizations as well as in the corporate sector in the Office of George Soros as both his executive assistant and special projects manager. Meiko is a long standing member of Greenwich Field Hockey Club in NYC and can be found thriving during weekend hockey games or travels abroad with friends/family.
Jane is an Editorial Fellow at Thrive Global. She joined the team after working as a reporter for Ladders News, where she wrote about the ways we live and work, covered events, and interviewed authors about their latest career-related books. She also worked as an Assistant Virtual Reality Producer at Reuters after college. Additionally, she interned at CNBC Global Headquarters for four summers— before and during her undergraduate years— through The Emma Bowen Foundation. Jane has a BA in Broadcast Journalism from American University in Washington, D.C.
Charlotte is an Associate Editor at Thrive Global. Prior to Thrive, Charlotte worked as a research assistant on two clinical studies. She is a graduate of Bates College where she studied Psychology and Philosophy. Outside the office, her passions include nutrition, travel and running.
Walford is a Video Fellow at Thrive Global. Prior to joining the team at Thrive Global, he was a video fellow at BuzzFeed. Walford is a graduate of Williams College and he majored in English Literature.
Alex is our MD for Australia and New Zealand and joins us from Melbourne Business School at the University of Melbourne where he led the Marketing, Communications and Events teams, and the Corporate Relations and Partnerships function over 20 years. He created high-profile forums that attracted the most senior global leaders to bridge academia with the business community and to partner together across many initiatives. Some of these initiatives included securing funds to encourage more women in business to study through scholarships and for funding Greek underprivileged students to study in Australia. Alex has spent time on assignments abroad with BP, IBM, MTV, Warner Music, General Motors, Inditex and Vodafone and has a Masters of Marketing from Monash University. He also sits on the committee overseeing Women in Leadership for the American Chamber of Commerce in Australia. When you can’t reach him he’ll often be found boxing or traveling the world in search of that next adventure.
Nick is a Client Partner at Thrive Global. Nick studied Psychology and Entrepreneurship at Tufts University, and after graduating he started his career at IBM Watson. While at Watson, Nick led the wellness and sports ecosystem and was responsible for creating partnerships with large wellness companies and professional sports teams. In his free time, Nick collects plants and grows vegetables in his NYC apartment!
Horacio is Special Projects Manager at Thrive Global. Born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, he obtained a B.A. in Political Science at the Universidad de Belgrano, and pursued a M.A. in International Relations at the Latin American School of Social Sciences. After moving to NYC in 2000, he worked on Arianna’s team at Huffington Post as a Special Projects and Social Media Editor. Previous to his tenure at Huffington Post, Horacio has worked in the public relations, marketing, press, and communications fields for over 12 years serving as a strong leader on numerous campaigns for public, private, non-profit, and government organizations. Horacio loves art & history books, cooking, renovating houses, swimming and his Jack Russell terriers.
Sloane is the Associate Special Projects Editor at Thrive Global. She brings prior experience as a Legal Analyst at the New York State Office of the Attorney General’s Financial Crimes Bureau, and most recently worked in public affairs at SKDKnickerbocker. Sloane originally hails from Michigan where she graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Public Policy and Spanish. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, finding new music, and exploring the wide range of restaurants that NYC has to offer.
Amy Fung is Head of Training - Greater China at Thrive Global. She is responsible for coordinating, designing and delivering trainings with the team in the Greater China Region. She works closely with the business development team for new business opportunities in the region. Amy is also a Life and Executive Coach. Prior to Thrive Global, Amy has over 20 years of corporate experience where she was the CFO/FD for several international advertising and PR agencies such as TBWA, M&C Saatchi and Burson-Marsteller for Hong Kong and Greater China. Amy’s interests includes hiking (completion of the trail walker), singing (back-up vocal for a canton pop concert) and Latin dancing with her husband.
Kaileen is a video producer with a passion for well-being, health and pop-culture. She previously worked at Refinery29 where she produced social videos for the Strong Opinions Loosely Held vertical. Kaileen graduated from the University of Missouri with a bachelor’s degree in entrepreneurial journalism and a minor in art history.
Kirsten joins Thrive Global as a Project Manager, Corporate Product. She comes from a background in client success at Glassdoor, where she worked with SMB and mid-level companies on their employer branding strategy and recruiting goals. Prior to Glassdoor, Kirsten graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Communications. She loves to stay active through running, yoga, and skiing, and enjoys to travel and explore new restaurants in her free time.
Alexandra is the Audience Engagement Editor at Thrive Global. She comes to Thrive from Teach For America where she was awarded the Sue Lehmann Teaching & Learning Fellowship—an honor that recognizes two teachers who exemplify the program’s core values. She studied Creative Writing & Photojournalism at the University of Michigan and has a masters in education from Relay Graduate School of Education.
Dana is the Finance Manager at Thrive Global. Prior to Thrive, Dana spent four years at Indeed.com, the world’s largest job site, where her role included managing the corporate forecast and budget process and facilitating communication among the executive leadership team for strategic planning. Prior to Indeed, Dana began her career in investment banking at Sandler O’Neill, on the M&A team, and holds a BA in finance from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. Dana can be found running, working out and rock climbing in NYC or somewhere on a mountain, doing her favorite activity since age 4, skiing.
Curtis joins Thrive Global as a Client Partner. Prior to Thrive, Curtis spent four years at American Express in a Senior Client Manger Role spearheading the business development and marketing of a luxury tour operator portfolio. He has also worked in marketing and analytics roles at Madison Square Garden and J.P. Morgan. Curtis holds a BA in Political Science from Columbia University. Outside of work Curtis loves to travel, play basketball, and try different restaurants all over New York City.
Joey is the Director of Trainings at Thrive Global. He has dedicated the last 30 years to coaching and facilitating motivational seminars to assist individuals and professional organizations in improving their lives, their careers and their businesses all over the world. Joey was recently Executive Consultant and Partner for McGhee Productivity, which provides consulting and educational services to businesses to increase productivity, communication, and quality of life. Raised in urban Los Angeles, Joey rose above the challenges of the area to receive a football scholarship at UCLA and attend UCSD. He has completed Masters in Psychology and Theology. Following college he began his career as a motivational speaker and performance enhancement coach.
Emily is the Deputy Director of Editorial Content at Thrive Global. She joins Thrive after working at Columbia University. Previously, she was a Senior Editor at Cosmopolitan, and held editorial roles at Fit Pregnancy, Natural Health, and the Bauer Teen Group. Her writing has appeared in Cosmopolitan, J-14, Parents, Men's Health, and other publications. A lifelong New Yorker, Emily graduated from Columbia University with a BA in English and grew up in Park Slope, Brooklyn. She now lives on the Upper West Side.
Chloe joins Thrive Global as a Project Manager in Training and Curriculum. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology at the American University of Beirut and later went on to receive her Master’s Degree at the London School of Economics in Organizational and Social Psychology. She worked as an Operations Coordinator at a boutique law firm in California for two years and left in order to pursue her passion in organizational wellness and development and to help change the way people work and live.
Dan is the Director of Business Development at Thrive Global. Previously, he served as chief of staff to Arianna Huffington at The Huffington Post, aiding in the oversight of the global media company. Prior to HuffPost, Dan was the chief researcher to David Gergen at the Harvard Kennedy School and CNN, also working to build Harvard’s Center for Public Leadership. You can find Dan thriving while on a run along the East River, or performing every number from the Broadway show Hamilton.
Marina Khidekel is Thrive's Editorial Director. Previously she was senior deputy editor at Women's Health, where she edited award-winning wellness features and oversaw the campaigns and partnerships around them. Before that, she was deputy editor of features and brand extensions at Cosmopolitan, where she modernized the magazine's love and relationships coverage, bringing in top contributors, launching two events, and leading Cosmopolitan to earn its first GLAAD award for Outstanding Magazine Overall Coverage. She was also the founder of Undrrated, a viral email newsletter where notable creatives such as Misty Copeland and Phoebe Robinson shared their under-the-radar culture, food and style favorites. She was born in Russia, but calls the West Village home.
Alison Kreuch is the Head of Client Partnerships for Thrive Global. She brings thirty years of sales, marketing and advertising experience working for companies such as Nickelodeon, Disney and Ogilvy & Mather. Prior to joining Thrive, Alison was the Vice President of Advertising & Marketing for Hungry Girl, a media company in the food space. Alison was instrumental in growing Hungry Girl from a daily email start-up to a multi-media platform offering custom content, a large social media footprint, a book publishing business, a magazine and even a cruise. Alison is a graduate of Smith College and lives in Connecticut with her husband and three sons (when they are home from college). She is passionate about the Thrive mission and is determined to maximize her productivity by getting a minimum of 7 hours of sleep a night!
Ksenia is a Research Designer at Thrive Global, focusing on measurement strategy and development. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from The University of Chicago and completed her Master’s Degree in Management at Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. She previously worked in market research for two years, focusing on loyalty, satisfaction, and customer experience research. She is passionate about travel, the outdoors, and exploring all the new restaurants NYC has to offer.
Kasia Laskowski is an Executive Assistant at Thrive Global. She brings with her eight years of experience in the nonprofit and humanitarian sectors where she witnessed firsthand the epidemic of burnout in countless organizations staffed with passionate and determined individuals. Most recently, Kasia worked as Communications Director for the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary, an international congregation of Catholic women. Prior to that, Kasia worked in the fields of international humanitarian training and academia. Kasia studied International Political Economy at Fordham University and is soon to complete her MA in Humanitarian Action from Fordham’s Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. In her spare time, Kasia enjoys learning about spiritual pathways to healing and applying them to her life.
Vanna Le is the head of global partnerships at Thrive Global. Previously, she was a senior editor at Inc., where she profiled countless entrepreneurs and managed staff and freelance writers covering leadership and corporate culture. Prior to Inc., Vanna spent five years at Forbes, overseeing content in entertainment, autos, healthcare, politics, and Wall Street. Her work has also appeared in The New Yorker, Los Angeles, and Vogue.
Dae Hee is Creative Designer at Thrive Global. He is a multidisciplinary designer from Seoul, South Korea, with a passion for creating sleek, user-centered experiences that make product interaction easier and more delightful. His sensibilities are influenced by his background in architecture, and he often dives into distinct project components in Thrive Global. Before joining Thrive Global, he worked at Huge Inc., and American Express.
Monica is Head of Communications at Thrive Global. She leads all internal and external communications strategy for the company. Prior to joining Thrive Global, Monica was Vice President and Head of Global Communications at The Huffington Post where she was part of Arianna Huffington’s executive leadership team. Monica led strategic communications for the global media company across 16 markets, with oversight of all corporate, business and content communications. Prior to joining HuffPost, Monica spent eight years at NBC Universal most recently serving as Director of Communications for NBC News, managing publicity and communications strategy for the network’s top talent and signature programs including TODAY, Dateline and NBC News Primetime Specials. During her time at NBC Universal, Monica also worked in corporate communications and news production for TODAY. She began her career in media in the prestigious NBC Page Program after graduating with honors from Tufts University.
Alex Levenson joins Thrive as the Head of Client Partnerships, International. Previously, Alex built and sold a subscription e-commerce business, First Call. Prior to First Call, Alex spent over 7 years at viagogo where he was the Head of Asia Pacific, launching the business in Australia and throughout Asia and developing the organization’s model for international growth. Alex graduated from Columbia University where he studied English Literature. On the weekends, you’ll find him running the loop in Central Park.
Lori is Thrive Global's SVP, Legal and Business Affairs overseeing all legal matters, as well as helping to develop Thrive Global's presence in the legal industry. Previously, Lori was the General Counsel of Undertone, Complex Media and Blue State Digital, having worked in all sides of digital media from ad tech, agency to publisher. Lori is an avid yogi and lives in NYC with her husband, daughter, cat and dog.
Clarice is a Social, Branded Content Fellow at Thrive Global. Previously, she has worked in editorial, social media, branded content and production roles. Clarice is a graduate of Howard University where she studied Media, Journalism and Film with a concentration in Digital Journalism and a minor in Graphic Design. She plans on using her skill for content creation and writing to assist in the normalization of diversity in the media industry.
Lisa is the Director of Product Design at Thrive Global. She loves to get her hands dirty building companies, mentoring people, and designing intuitive products. She has spent almost twenty years refining brands, creating compelling user experiences, and building things people love to share online. She founded a side-business called KidCash that helps parents create ways to incentivize productive behavior and mindfulness. She can’t wait to build products that can improve people’s lives at Thrive.
Rebecca Muller is a Content Fellow at Thrive Global. Her previous work experience includes roles in editorial and digital journalism. Rebecca is a graduate of New York University, where she studied Media, Culture and Communications with a minor in Creative Writing. For her undergraduate thesis, she researched the relationship between women and fitness media consumerism. She is excited to join Thrive in its mission to accelerate the culture shift and end the stress epidemic.
Bryan is a Senior Software Engineer at Thrive Global. Previously, he worked at a handful of agencies and spent time teaching at General Assembly. He has a background in physics and when not programming spends time playing music, reading, and drawing.
Fatih is a Senior iOS Engineer at Thrive. Previously, he worked with various start-ups across America as an iOS Engineer. He started his bachelors degree as a business major and switched it to computer science midway through his studies. With his interest in finance, he builds equity trading bots in his free time. He loves to spend his time with his wife and two cats exploring well-being, nutrition and mindfulness. When he’s not at his computer, he enjoys the outdoors, fly-fishing, surfing, skiing and playing music.
Alisa Peters is the Lead Backend Engineer at Thrive Global. Prior to joining Thrive, Alisa worked at Google, 60dB, and Netflix building recommendation platforms for media at scale. Alisa holds a B.S. in mathematics with a minor in music from California Polytechnic University and a M.S. in computer science from The George Washington University. Outside of work, you can find Alisa navigating the exciting new adventure of parenting, singing barbershop, amateur cheffing, eating at the hot new San Francisco restaurants with her husband, and reading.
Kyle Pfister is the Head of Client Partnerships for Thrive Global. He brings over 10 years of software sales experience working for companies such as Apple, Salesforce.com, Symantec, SurveyMonkey & Sprinklr. Prior to joining Thrive, Kyle was the Global Account Executive for Sprinklr in the Bay Area. At every company, Kyle has always expressed his passion for health and wellness at work and in his personal life. He is extremely passionate about Thrive’s mission and personally subscribes to 8 hours of sleep per night, daily meditation and a healthy diet along with daily exercise. Kyle is a graduate from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and is a Bay Area native. In his free time, Kyle can be found hiking, biking, wakeboarding, snowboarding or simply enjoying the outdoors.
Jackie joins Thrive Global as the Sales Operations Manager. Prior to Thrive, Jackie spent 13 years at Yahoo! Hotjobs and Monster.com as a Sales Operations specialist. Jackie graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst with a degree in both Psychology and Education. Jackie can be found running in Central Park, hiking in South Africa, daydreaming about her next trip or raising money for the Spinal Cord Injury Project.
Chesley Price is the Director of Client Solutions at Thrive Global. Prior to Thrive, she was an early employee of the secondary research company, Wonder, where she created the ethos and strategy of Client Experience and Account Management. Chesley is a problem solver to her core. She has enjoyed spending her career thus far working with consulting firms and advertising agencies in their efforts to be forward thinkers and strategically think outside the box. She earned a BSBA in Hospitality Management and Business, along with a focus in Anthropology from the University of Denver. Chesley has a divine love for exploring the world, yoga and all things outdoors.
Stephanie joins Thrive Global as the Assistant Controller. Most recently she was the accounting manager for innRoad, inc., a SAAS company providing property management software for small independent hotels. Prior to that, she worked for TitleVest after graduating from Wagner college. Stephanie is also a certified Kettlebell Kickboxing instructor and in her spare time can be found gardening, working out, or outside enjoying nature.
Melissa is our first Controller to join Thrive Global and is responsible for the oversight of financial and treasury functions. Most recently, she was the Director of Accounting at Vroom where she led the accounting teams across various states. She has her CPA and MBA from Columbia Business School, along with over 15 years of public accounting and industry experience. Daniel Shaffer is an iOS Developer at Thrive Global. His work in entrepreneurship and engineering started in 2008, when he founded Redwheel Apps, an iPhone app company, and launched his first app the day the App Store launched. Today, he has accumulated over 2.5 million downloads worldwide, with two apps reaching #5 on the top charts. Previously, he worked at UBS and The New York Times, as well as advising and completing freelance work for startups in tech and product capacities. Recently, Daniel was an engineer at RapidSOS, an advanced 911 tech startup, where he helped develop the company’s flagship app product. Daniel also recently launched LocalList, a location-based live updates platform for communities. In addition to his passion for technology and business, Daniel is an avid music fan and drummer.
Stephen is the Director of Thought Leadership at Thrive Global. He has written for The New Yorker, The New York Times, The New York Times Magazine, Esquire, GQ, The New Republic, and NPR. He’s also written for many television shows, including Late Show with David Letterman, and TV Nation on NBC, and has consulted on several documentaries, including My Architect. He was head writer and producer for Majority Report with Sam Seder and Janeane Garofalo on Air America, and was a co-founder of the comedy website 23/6, a joint venture between the Huffington Post and IAC. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife and two sons.
Nandini (Dini) is a Product Manager at Thrive Global. She has more than 10 years of experience working on enterprise and consumer products. Prior to joining Thrive, Dini worked as a Product Manager and Software Developer at Facebook, Flickr, and SupportSoft. She is passionate about bringing product ideas to life while solving for user problems through technology. Being a working mom in the tech industry, Dini is excited to bring her personal experiences and learnings to help drive Thrive's mission forward. Dini has a Masters in Computer Science from Cornell University and currently lives in Menlo Park with her husband and her super active toddler boy. Outside of work, you can find Nandini indulging in hiking, cooking and is always on the hunt for pretty shoes!
Sagar Sood is a Senior Software Engineer at Thrive Global, focusing on architecture design and back-end infrastructure development. Sagar loves working with large data sets, and building products based on data analysis. Before joining Thrive, he was working for an influencer marketing startup and the media conglomerate, Hearst. Sagar has a BS in Computer Science and MS in Information Systems from New Jersey Institute of Technology. Apart from working in tech, he is also an avid travel photographer/videographer, and works with various travel companies and tourism boards to create and promote content on his Instagram.
Katie is the first recruiter to join Thrive Global. She comes with 3 years of technology recruiting experience from TEKsystems, where she placed technical, creative, and product professionals at startups around the city. In addition to her passion for recruitment and people development, she loves participating in NYC tech meetups, exploring cities around the world, and spending time with her dogs @blue_and_kody.
Agapi Stassinopoulos is a best-selling author and speaker who inspires audiences around the world. In her previous book, Unbinding the Heart: A Dose of Greek Wisdom, Generosity, and Unconditional Love, she shares the wisdom from her life’s adventures and experiences. In her new book, Wake Up to the Joy of You: 52 Meditations and Practices for a Calmer, Happier Life, she takes readers on a journey and inspires them to let go of what doesn’t work and instead create the lives they really want. Agapi was trained in London at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and then moved on to receive her master’s degree in psychology from the University of Santa Monica. Her previous books on the Greek archetypes, Gods and Goddesses in Love and Conversations with the Goddesses, were turned into PBS specials. She is currently conducting workshops for Thrive Global, a company founded by her sister, Arianna Huffington, to help change the way we work and live. She divides her time between New York and Los Angeles and was born and raised in Athens, Greece.
Juliana is the Director of Partnerships at Thrive Global. Previously, she worked on de Blasio 2017 and Hillary for America. Prior to her campaign work, she was Chief of Staff at Broadway Video Enterprises—Lorne Michaels’s entertainment and media company—worked in the TODAY Show newsroom, and was a member of the NBC Page Program. She studied Political Science and History at Williams College.
Jeff Swafford is a Special Projects Coordinator at Thrive Global. He first started working with Arianna at The Huffington Post in 2008 as her Chief of Staff. Prior to working with Arianna, Jeff was an Executive Assistant to producer Lawrence Bender and worked on the films Good Will Hunting, Kill Bill, Jackie Brown, From Dusk Till Dawn, among many others.
Ruslan is the Director of Client Services and Corporate Marketing at Thrive Global. After leading video product commercialization for YouTube and launching Google’s SMB media agency team, Ruslan co-founded the Google BrandLab, a state-of-the-art experience center and brand consultancy. Over the past 5 years, he scaled the program to 6 centers across 4 continents, working with 225 global brands on their marketing strategies, leading to more than $400M in digital marketing initiatives on Google’s platforms. Prior to Google, Ruslan oversaw consumer research at Kantar Retail for many of the world’s largest CPG manufacturers and retailers. He is also a 30 under 30-recognized creative, a native Russian speaker, and holds a B.A. in Government and Philosophy from Dartmouth College.
Autumn Trafficante is one of Thrive Global’s Senior Software Engineers focusing on platform architecture and backend development. Prior to joining the team, she spent her time designing software solutions for a social media start-up in Midtown Manhattan and an oil company based in Texas. Autumn has a BA in Philosophy from Tulane University and briefly attended Tulane University School of Medicine before abandoning the MD to pursue a career in tech. When not glued to her laptop, she can be found at the gym, promoting wellness on her Instagram, and advocating for others as a member of the Transgender and LGBT communities.
