Jonathan Hancock

Jonathan Hancock is a writer, broadcaster and world-renowned memory expert. A two-time Guinness World Record Breaker and former World Memory Champion, he used his own learning skills to achieve a First from Oxford University and then pursue a successful career as a BBC broadcaster before spending ten years as a teacher and leader in education. Jonathan has written a number of successful books about memory and learning, including ‘Brilliant Memory Training’ (Pearson) and ‘Successful Memory Techniques in a Week’ (Hodder Education), plus online courses for adults and children at For the last ten years Jonathan has worked with the Learning Skills Foundation as Founder of the Junior Memory Championship, and has appeared on all five series of the popular Channel 4 TV programme ‘Child Genius’.
